Overview
OpteraOne provides flexible, role‑based access control so each organization can mirror its own structure while keeping data secure and auditable.Main Roles in OpteraOne
OpteraOne is typically used by two main roles in your organization:- Administrator
Configures the system, manages users, and controls access to all modules. - Field Technician / Agent
Executes assigned tasks in the field using the mobile app and submits reports and evidence.
Flexible Role Configuration
Beyond the default roles, OpteraOne lets each company define its own roles and fine‑tune exactly what each role can see and do. Administrators can:- Create new roles that match internal job titles (for example, “Regional Supervisor”, “Partner Technician”, “Read‑only Manager”).
- Configure permissions per module and action, such as who can create or edit tasks, manage users, access reports, or change settings.
- Control access to mobile vs. web so some roles only use the mobile app while others work in the CMS.
Why Flexible Roles Matter
- Security – Limit access to sensitive data by role and department.
- Operational focus – Show each user only the menus and actions they need to do their job.
- Scalability – Add or adjust roles as your organization, partners, or workflows evolve.
- Audit & compliance – Track who did what and when across all configured roles.
